The story
1999
The history of Twilight Inferno started in december 1999. It all began when I sat in my little room, with a 3 year old Pentium 200mhz. In my little "studio" as I called it, I discovered that it was really fun creating music, as I wanted it. When you don't have lots of money for instruments and stuff, the computer is a big assett. A program like Acid Music, or any other program, a guitar, a bunch of wave or mp3 loops and - voila! MUSIC!!! "Four season" was my first song that I made. After a while I had 15 songs. I burned them on a cd. Thought that I would give it away to some friends, but I needed an artistname and a cover. The cover wasn't so hard to fix, but find a artistname wasn't that simple. A long time a go when I was in a band called Sunset Blade, a forgotten hard rock band, I realized all good names was taken. So I had to think of a name that was so unlogical as possible and there it was - Twilight Inferno. The title of the cd with the 15 songs became "Tomorrow is a memory". The style was a mix of genres. The music had traces of rock, synth, techno, classic, punk, jazz and so on. I didn't let anything stop my fantasy of how music could sound like. The music takes me wherever it wants...
2000
...and it continues that way in 2000. The inspiration never stoped and I just kept going. In february the number of songs had grownd and some other musicstyles been tested. The result of that became a second cd, "Sexualize". 15 new songs and a remix of an old song "Dust to dust". In april, 17 songs - 16 new once and a remix of a song from "Sexualize" (When dreams come true) was completed. 6 of the songs was left-overs from the "Sexualize-session". The cd, named "Playing with fire" was a little tougher and was more rock-influenced then the earlier albums. After the summer that year I started to work on some new songs and I also invested in a new Pentium III 700mhz...
2001
...I was testing some new intresting software along with the music making. The work with "Living in a shadowland" was completed in mars 2001. 18 songs including 2 remixes, "When lightning strikes" and a longer remix of the titlesong. On this one a friend of mine, Embe, made the coverart. From february to september I was in a period of creative insanity and I had about 30-35 songs to chose from for the next cd. I squeezed 21 of them on a cd called "Mysterious sign". After that I took it a bit slower and tried to work on other projects insteed that didn't had anything to do with music. Well needed...
2002
The new Pentium IV 2,0Ghz was well used in the spring. After a hectic time of work between february and may I chosed 14 songs that was representing Twilight Inferno on the album "The spiders web". In june that year, I finally joined Acidplanet, and published a bunch of songs, both old and new once. In november the song "Andromeda", a experimental song, made it to the top of experimental list and climped in to the top 25 over all...
2003
...since working on other projects the music making was a low priority for several month, and only a few songs was finalized. But after the summer I began to work on the idea of a real official album by Twilight Inferno. The album planed to be released was "Eyes of the wizard". So I began to look for the possibilites to make it on the mp3.com where i've been since 2002. "Eyes of the wizard" which also became "The Acidplanet album" was completed by the end of october. Sadly, MP3.com where planing to closing down the site in november so I looked further and found the ArtistLaunch.com. The project took a new turn. "Burning ambitions" became the new working title for the project. In november, to my big surprise, the song "Coming home" made it to the top of experimental/post rock-list on Acidplanet.com and 26 on the over all list...
2004
The first months of '04 I worked hard on Burning ambitions and in april the album was released on ArtistLaunch.com. In may I recieved an invitation from Zonk music to release Burning ambitions. A special release with two bonus tracks was released, but august 1, Zonk Music went out of business. Plans of a new cd growned after the summer. A plan that became a plan of two cd's. The first cd, with the working title The voyager is still in work at the end of the year, and is planned to be released in the end of 2005 on ArtistLaunch. The idea of an free downloadable cd, named Jigzaw puzzle myztery, became a reality and is due to be released in January '05. Did a surprising discovery in the end of the year, when I found a few backup-cd's with many unused songs from the past. Should take a look at them when I have time.
2005
...started with laying the last hand on Jigzaw puzzle myztery which was released in the end of January and was followed by the 4-track E.P./cd-single which was released in february as a free downloadable cd. Since working hard on the Jigzaw puzzle myztery, the work on The voyager was delayed to after the summer then with some new equipment that was bought in march/april. After the summer the work continued and at the start of december the single Don't shoot the messenger was released as a free downloadable cd. Another project that is planned to be taken care of is the backup-cd's that I found.

2006
...continued with the work of The voyager. It was released on ArtistLaunch in april. In the summer, as a surprise, another album in form of a netalbum was released on Benekkea netlabel - Shades of another world. Songs left out of The voyager and other projects was put together with some demos and unreleased songs. A great success with lots of downloads. It was also decided that Twilight Inferno would re-release a bunch of old songs on three double-cd's sometimes in 2007. The work to complete this releases ended the year.
To be continued...
2007
...started with the work on the first volume of The Twilight Inferno chronicle - Four seasons. A double-cd with songs from the three first albums. In may it was release and the work started on the second volume - The Twilight Inferno chronicle - Dreamzone - which was finally released in december. In november it was time to enter Twilight Infernos new studio - Studio Seven.
2008
...started as 2007 finished. Working on the third volume - The Twilight Inferno chronicle - Dust to dust while working on building on the studio. In august the double cd finally was released. The work on a new studio album has been in work since 2007 and started taking shape. No title on it yet but the idea is to have it ready for the 10th anniversary of Twilight Inferno in december 2009...
2009
